A start-up company from the medical field approached us to design and manufacture complex cards with very challenging mechanical constraints. We suggested a new system architecture and split the functions of the device into 2 cards to allow for minimal volume packaging. In a record time of a few weeks we completed design, performed programming for st components, closed routing and went into production. The project was a real success.
We have developed for French company an algorithm for detecting and classifying drugs. The company is a small pharm company and has developed an automatic robot for dispensing medicines according to a medical prescription. Our algorithm detects the balls and pills from images, using segmentation and classification via the k-nn method basesd on various features (color, shape, texture, etc.). The company was able to successfully market the product after we have succeed to meet an accuracy of over 95%.
A fascinating project that was developed for an agricultural incubator abroad. The farmer's goal was to operate relays that controlled the supply of water and food for the chickens remotely controlled. We developed an IoT system that is energy saver, including electronic cards, modems and relays. We have defined a modem and antenna according to customer's needs and field constraints. The manufacturing of the cards was done by our partner in Europe.
We have developed an electronic test box for a medium-sized company. Now they will be able to test electronic cards during acceptance tests (ATP). This system has an ergonomic graphical interface on Labview, so the technician can test the communications between the modules as well as the voltages of several test points.
During this activity we worked together with the software team of a start-up that deals with diagnosing hearing problems via Internet. We developed some modules for their application. Among other things, we have implemented a module that allows the connection of all types of cameras and microphones to a mobile device (iOS / Android). We have developed a web interface that works in sync with the app and allows to view, analyze and store the data into database.
We have implemented in Matlab an automated algorithm that receives as input images from a screen containing spots in different shapes and sizes. The algorithm computes the spot properties such as shape, intensity, blurr and these properties are extracted as OUTPUT for the purposes of calculations performed by the customer's system
